Moraberg Study Centre is a small school with approximately 200 students, where we have gathered teachers and a student health team with specialized expertise for students who wish to qualify for national programs and/or develop their new language, Swedish. Students have the opportunity to study upper secondary courses in combination with compulsory school subjects. Our goal is to motivate and guide students towards further studies or into the workforce.

At Moraberg Study Centre, all students should feel welcome, seen, and understood, and a warm, relationship-oriented climate should prevail.

At Moraberg Study Centre, students choose to study one of the following introductory programs: Language Introduction or Vocational Introduction towards Stylist and Motorcycle Mechanics. The school is also responsible for the municipal activity responsibility, where we offer, among other things, Individual Alternatives.

Your Responsibilities

The work involves planning and teaching in classes when regular teachers are absent. When needed, you will teach all compulsory school subjects in Language Introduction, Vocational Introduction, and Individual Alternatives. You may also need to support the outreach work within the municipal activity responsibility by seeking out young people between 16 and 19 years old (not yet 20) who have no employment and motivating them back to studies.

We view the entire school as a learning organization where joint further education, workshops, and collegial learning are important parts. Exciting development work is constantly ongoing at the school, part of which is that all staff have good knowledge within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

Who Are You?

You are a teacher student who has come a long way in your education and completed practical teaching training (VFU) at upper secondary or high school level. You have good knowledge of the school's mission and are well familiar with the current curriculum and other governing documents. Based on this, you have the ability to plan and adapt your teaching to the individual needs of the students. You have faith in the students' will and ability to succeed, and you constantly strive to develop your teaching to give students the best possible conditions.

• You have a good ability to identify success factors for student learning and believe in every individual's development potential
• You are responsible and approach your work with great engagement

Requirements:

• You are studying the subject teacher program with a focus on Swedish as a second language in combination with another subject.
• You have worked as a substitute teacher.
